In this performance, I select a series of words from songs written in the context of the vietnam/france war and vietnam/us war. Each word is associated with a musical bar (also taken from from the songs) or instruction prompt for musicians. when musicians see their assigned words, they will play. Through the act of arranging these words, I simultaneously create a poetic, personal recount of the history of vietnam and a musical composition.
